Dear Diary

I got another letter from Alan this morning.  It seems we are back where we started.  Went to Rainham Town with Michael tonight.  Had one great discussion which turned into a very heated argument.

I don’t like being nasty to Mike. It makes me miserable and I don’t enjoy myself very much.

It appears I’ve got him very puzzled.  He said ‘Y’know, I really can’t understand you at all.  Why do you bother to go out with me?’  To which I charmingly replied, ‘I like you.  I like your company.’  I’m told it is my attitude that is concerning him.

I refused to go walking with him tomorrow which narked him a lot. I’m going to his house ‘to sit’ tomorrow evening.

To date I have received 33 letters, 2 postcards, 1 valentine card from Alan.
